June-July 2019: BRAVO at YMA, Archipelago, & YOLA!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our BRAVO students just finished BRAVO’s summer camp last week, but there is more musical summer enrichment ahead!

Some of our advanced winds and strings just yesterday arrived at Young Musicians & Artists (YMA); in mid-July, a handful of our advanced winds will attend YOLA National and Archipelago. We are very proud of these students and can’t wait to hear about their musical adventures when they return to BRAVO in the fall!

June 20, 5:30pm: BRAVO joins with Mercy Corps for World Refugee Day

On World Refugee Day, Mercy Corps is joining forces with BRAVO Youth Orchestras and celebrated musicians from the Portland community for a special performance and fundraiser benefiting refugees around the world. BRAVO will be taking part in a grant-funded musical exchange with Junior Orchestra of Yamhill County (JOY), an El Sistema-inspired enrichment program at Edwards Elementary School in Newberg, OR.
