May 24, 7pm: BRAVO Community Orchestra spring concert at U of P

Join us when our intergenerational Community Orchestra presents a wide-ranging program: Rossini’s overture to The Barber of Seville (made famous by Bugs Bunny); Symphony #1 by Joseph Bologne, also known as the Chevalier de Saint-Georges; Danny Elfman’s soundtrack to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; and the beloved Ashokan Farewell, the theme to Ken Burns’ documentary on the Civil War.

This is the BCO’s last concert of the year under the leadership of our new conductor, Maestro Giancarlo Castro D’Addona and our new BCO manager, Marian Gutierrez.  They are BRAVO’s first Teaching Artists from Venezuela, and bring decades of experience as performers and teachers at the highest level in their home country.
