The BRAVO Community Music Center is located in the heart of North Portland. This former Multnomah County Library built in 1922 is home to BRAVO’s administrative offices but also offers 984 square feet of education and performance space and features historic windows and architecture. Hold classes or rehearsals. Host a discussion. Perform an intimate concert. Hold a work retreat or board meeting. You could even get married here!

Rental Fees

K-12 Student Performance

College Student Performance
$50 for five hours. $25 each additional hour.

Adult Musician/Group Performance
$100 for five hours. $15 each additional hour.

Film Showing
$60 for three hours. $15 each additional hour.

Conference Room – Nonprofit
$20 per two-hour block

Conference Room – For-profit
$40 per two-hour block

Main Hall – Non-profit (symposium, retreat, etc)
$1000 for 8 hours. $100 each additional hour.

Main Hall – Non-profit Party (gala, holiday, etc.)
$1500 for 8 hours. $100 each additional hour.

Main Hall – For-profit (retreat, speaker series, etc.)
$2000 for 8 hours. $200 each additional hour.

Party (Wedding, birthday, etc.)
$2500 for 8 hours. $200 each additional hour.

  • All Main Hall Rentals include use of the conference room and kitchen.
  • Main Hall capacity is 100 people standing. 60 people seated theatre style plus 10 performers/presenters.
  • All nonprofit rentals include use of the dishware. For-profit businesses and parties may rent dishware for an additional $250.
  • Digital piano available for rental. Inquire for cost.
  • Renters are allowed to charge an admission fee. Advanced ticket sales must use BRAVO’s own ticketing system. Music performances must allow a minimum of 10 free tickets for BRAVO youth.
  • All main hall events must include a COI. Parties must also hire one security person from a licensed and bonded security firm.
  • Alcohol may only be served by a licensed OLCC server. 
  • All renters are responsible for cleaning the venue when completed.
  • Absolutely no events or music may run past 10pm. A fine of $1000 will be applied if this limit is exceeded.
